Terms of Use

The licence

Microbarium is distributed through the App Store and is licensed to you under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement. Those terms govern your use of the app. We have not written a separate agreement, because there is nothing about this app that needs one.

Microbarium Pro

Pro is an auto-renewing monthly subscription that unlocks the full microbe roster, removes the 45-second limit on cleaning sessions, and opens Hunter Ranks, mastery levels and the full hygiene report.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings; deleting the app does not cancel it.
If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it is forfeited when you buy a subscription.

Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us — Apple is the seller of record. Requests go through reportaproblem.apple.com.

What the app is not

Microbarium is a game. The Gunk Meter is a playful estimate based on how much you have handled your phone — it is not a measurement of your screen, and nothing in the app is medical, hygienic or health advice. The care tips are ordinary device-care suggestions; follow your manufacturer's guidance for cleaning your own hardware.
